TPI Swing Characteristics – Loss of Posture
During address of the golf ball, several defined angles are created by your body. If we draw a line from your ear, down your spine, to your hip joint, from your hip joint to your knee join and from your knee joint to your ankle joint, we create three defined angles. During the swing, you should maintain those body angles fairly consistently. It is typically inefficient to rise up during the back swing or crouch down during the down swing. For the sake of this swing characteristic, any time the angles are changed dramatically, we call that loss of posture.
